Biography
Hali Neto (1991) is an Angolan/Dutch actor, mime artist, and theater maker. He graduated in 2018 from the Mime Department at the Amsterdam University of the Arts.
Hali is a researcher with primal strength who enjoys looking at the world in a playful way. This makes him a theater maker who creates physical and powerful visual performances; his work stands out for its striking imagery, sharp timing, physical humor, and themes revolving around inner struggle, freedom, and authenticity.
As a performer, Hali is known for his flawless timing, boundless joy in acting, and a humorous streak. Reviews have praised him as “imaginative” and “disarming”, with surprising visual and physical play that appeals to both young and old.
